The inaugural Asheville Citizen-Times City Marathon is on Saturday, September 28, 2013.
Yes, the race does come through West Asheville. The race organizers have provided the following information regarding impact of the race for our area. In particular, note that Michigan Avenue will be closed to traffic from Waynesville to Haywood from 7-9am.
Please be respectful and safe as you are moving through the area on Saturday morning.
