Cupboard Cold Care & Fire Cider Making Class

Learn how to support your health and immune system during the winter season with potent medicines already in your cupboards. During this four-hour course we will meet and explore the origins, history, medicinal properties, and spirit of timeless food medicines such as onion, garlic, ginger, cayenne, turmeric and curries, rosemary, thyme, oregano, cinnamon, sage, horseradish, mustard, and more. As well, Fire Cider, a traditional immune support vinegar infusion found within many cultures, will be shared as an important winter-time friend. Students will learn to make the cider and take home a pint size jar with them. Cost is $45.
