The City of Asheville and Bojangles are offering the area’s largest free Easter celebration on Saturday March 23 from 2 to 4 pm at Carrier Park in West Asheville. The Bojangles’ Easter Eggstravaganza will be full of Easter fun with free giant inflatables, crafts, face painting, a performance by the Mountain Thunder Cloggers, and an appearance by the Easter Bunny. The festivities will be held at Carrier Park, located along the French Broad River on Amboy Road. Egg hunts for ages 4-11 will be held at 4 p.m. with a special egg hunt area for ages 3 and under. Bring your camera for a family photo with the Easter Bunny and do the chicken dance with Bo, the Bojangles’ Chicken. All children will receive a free Easter goody bag. The Bojangles’ Easter Eggstravaganza is produced by the City of Asheville in the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department and sponsored by Bojangles’ Famous Chicken ‘n Biscuits.
