It’s time to start fund-raising for the 9th Annual West Asheville Garden Stroll (WAGS) to be held on Saturday, September 9th, 2017.

During the past eight years, thousands of your friends and neighbors have visited 100 beautiful West Asheville gardens. Every year Asheville residents and out-of-towners have enjoyed this free, volunteer-supported community event. In 2017, we are excited to share 15 private gardens with our neighbors and friends who can walk, bike, or car-pool through West Asheville neighborhoods. We count on businesses like yours to sponsor this event and keep it free and accessible for everyone. It’s easy for you to help.

We have three levels of support:

Sponsor at the $250 up to $500 level
Business logo prominently featured in Stroll Guide, opportunity to set up a table at Kick-off event, a link on website and Facebook post

Supporter at the $100 up to $249 level
Business logo included in Stroll Guide, a link on website and Facebook post

Friend at the $25 up to $99 level
Business name listed in the Stroll Guide, a link on website and Facebook post

Business sponsorship also enables WAGS to offer “Seed Grants” to businesses and organizations that want to beautify their public garden space. Earlier this year, the WAGS committee awarded $1500 to 5 recipients, including community groups and small businesses in West Asheville. Progress reports, including photographs, will be on display at our kick-off on Stroll Day. Your generosity will continue this exciting, on-going program into its fifth year.

We will personally follow-up with you about donating to WAGS 2017. If you want to jump-start the process, please send an email to wagardenstroll@gmail.com with your interest level, or complete the donation form and mail a check or call for check pick-up (see instructions on form).  Deadline is Saturday July 15th to ensure that your business name is in WAGS 2017 Stroll Guide.
