9th West Asheville Urban Plant Walk: Saturday, September 13th, 10:30 till 12:00

Come learn about the edible and medicinal plants growing in downtown West Asheville, from common garden ornamentals, to the weeds in your lawn, to the non-native invasive species gone wild!  Along with Center director Nancy Hyton, this Walk’s co-host is rumored to be Mimi Hernandez, director of the American Herbalist Guild!  The cost for the walk is $9 for adults (kids are free!) and includes a free handout of local plants. We recommend reserving your spot ahead of time since the walk always sells out.  Sign up in advance at the Center or just come by on the day of the event. You can also call 505-3174 or email nancy@centerholistic.com.  The walk starts at the Center and explores downtown West Asheville.
