Come learn about the edible and medicinal plants growing in downtown West Asheville, from common garden ornamentals, to the weeds in your lawn, to the non-native invasive species gone wild! Along with Center director Nancy Hyton, this Walk’s co-host is rumored to be Mimi Hernandez, director of the American Herbalist Guild! The cost for the walk is $9 for adults (kids are free!) and includes a free handout of local plants. We recommend reserving your spot ahead of time since the walk always sells out.
