The Sketchbook Project Mobile Library will be at Asheville BookWorks on Wednesday, March 26, 1 – 5 PM, the Mobile Library will be parked outside the doors of Asheville Bookworks, the event is free and open to the public.
You will get a first hand look at the sketchbooks in the Library. If you are visiting NYC, you can also visit them at their permanent location in Brooklyn. I’m so excited, this a rare treat for Asheville and all of Western NC. Mark your calendar and bring friends to share the experience. Funding for this visit was made possible by the creative efforts of the former Bookworks Co-op, newly formed as the Book and Print Arts Collective!
About The Sketchbook Project
Since 2006, The Sketchbook Project has been a global, crowd-sourced art project and interactive, traveling exhibition of handmade books. Our permanent collection at Brooklyn Art Library holds home to over 30,000 sketchbooks from 135 countries.
We invite participants from all walks of life to fill the pages of a blank sketchbook and send it back for inclusion in our one-of-a-kind library. Anyone, from anywhere in the world, can participate in the project.
