The second of four 2016 Haywood Road Clean Up Days will focus on the western end of the road. Meet at the Westville Pub at 10:00am for breakfast provided by Westville Pub and Biscuit Head!
After breakfast we’ll head out to pick up trash, recycling and clear storm grates along Haywood Road. We’ll also be labeling storm drains with “No Dumping” graphics to help raise awareness that those drains feed into our river.
Asheville GreenWorks will support our efforts with trash bags, gloves, basic tools and safety vests. RiverLink is providing us with storm drain markers and adhesive.
Post clean up treats will be announced that morning.
