Hi,I hope everyone is staying dry today! I am writing in regards to a program at Hall Fletcher Elementary called MusicWorks! We provide an after-school program to over 90 students which consist of using the teachings of classical music through ensembles and orchestras to help the children develop the social change critical for their success.On June 1st we will be holding a fundraiser and end-of-year concert where our students will be performing. We are looking for sponsorships as well as donations for our silent auction. We are also looking for "finger foods" for the event as well. MusicWorks! is an after school program at Hall Fletcher Elementary that helps students succeed in education and assist in social change for these students by teaching them classical music 5 days a week as well as a summer program. The students rotate each day through a homework session, a snack session, a chorus section, as well as learning to play an instrument such as the violin or cello This year we have 90 students in the program and we are looking to increase that to 120 next year. We measure the success of this program by looking at our students reading grades compared to the school. We know that this program is making a positive impact on our kids lives.
On June 1st we will be having our end of year fundraiser and concert. We are looking for sponsorships to help make this a success for our students! We are also looking for donations for a silent auction and for “finger food” for the event We would like to also invite everyone out to the fundraiser to see the kids in action.
