The ninth edition of the onHaywood.com printed map, scheduled to be released June 1, will be bigger!
onHaywood.com started as a web only listing of businesses along Haywood Road to assist in attracting more people to these businesses in this area of West Asheville. It quickly became apparent that a printed map would be extremely helpful in this goal, so nine years ago the onHaywood.com printed map brochure was born. It features a map with business advertising on one side and business listing information, including hours, on the other, making it a handy item for visitors from near and far as they explore our town.
onHaywood.com is delighted to announce that due to business growth in West Asheville the printed map will be expanding to a larger size this year. It will still fold to a handy 4″ x 9″ rack card size that fits easily into pockets and purses, but will now fold out to 24″ x 18″ sheet so as to include more restaurants, shops and services along Haywood Road and in the neighboring River Arts District.
A project of io design & illustration, inc. the onHaywood.com printed map is distributed state-wide, at the Asheville Regional Airport and Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center, as well as numerous businesses and community locations. It will be a featured brochure at the Asheville Visitor Center for the months of June and October which are prime months for travelers.
