The Malvern Hills Pool in West Asheville is open from June 8, 2013 to August 11, 2013, Monday -Friday 12 pm – 7 pm, Saturday 11 am – 6 pm and Sunday 1 pm – 6 pm. Pool fees are $3 for general admission, $40 for a 15 visit pass, $100 for an individual season pass and $150 for a family season pass of up to 4 people. The Malvern Hills Pool will be offering a $1 Dip Day on July 7 and August 11. Free swimming lessons will be offered July 15-25 during three time slots; 9 – 9:45 am, 10 – 10:45 am and 11 – 11:45 am. Registration is at the Malvern Hills Pool on July 8 at 11 am.

The Summer Playground Program through August 8, 2013 is a supervised recreation program for youth (rising first-fifth graders) located at Asheville area community centers. Activities include games, crafts, cultural arts and field trips. Runs 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday. Weekly fee: $40/child, with reduced fees for qualified families.
